More power to CompactPCI systems

SAE Power has a series of power supplies designed to meet the growing demand for higher power density in the CompactPCI marketplace

Housed in an industry standard 6U 8HP package, the series employs the P47 connector for PICMG 2.11 compatibility and may be configured with the P38 connector for legacy systems. The power supplies are highly reliable and deliver 600W of power with AC and DC input models available. 'These products set new standards for power density', commented Allan Brown, Chief Technology Officer for SAE Power.

'This power density allows our customers to add more features and capability to their systems by eliminating the need to consume slots for additional power supplies'.

'At 600W, the power supply delivers nearly twice the power of most products currently available to the industry'.

The AC input model, the PF600 PCI is now available for customer sampling from MRC Components.
