Spellman developed the MX20 to specifically support applications requiring 'hot-switchable' polarity reversing capability. When initiated via a logic level signal, the MX20's polarity reversal will settle to +/-2% within 500ms, at a 1Hz maximum repetition rate.

Thus, the MX20 is ideal for mass spectrometry related use and also in other critical applications such as: security detection, dynodes, sample ionisation, capillary electrophoresis or electrostatic printing.

The MX20 provides 20kV at 100uA in a compact 52 x 168 x 165mm modular package.

The unit's vacuum encapsulated high voltage output section isolates the components from environmental variables, thus insuring reliable corona free operation.

A customer-supplied 0-10V DC signal controls the module's output.

Voltage and current test points allow easy power supply monitoring.

Excellent ripple, regulation, stability and accuracy specifications make the MX20 well suited for demanding precision requirements.

Spellman can customise the MX20 for OEM systems where higher voltage and current ratings or enhanced performance specifications are required.
