Power injectors handle electricity and dataAult PW182 single-port power injectors provide power to devices through RJ45 jacks and high-speed data transfer over a single Ethernet cableSL Power Electronics has released a single-port power injector for Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), Gigabit-compatible applications (10/100/1000Mbit/s data rates). The Ault PW182 family provides power to devices through RJ45 jacks and high-speed data transfer over a single Ethernet cable. The Ault PW182 controls costs and saves time for OEMs because external contractors are no longer necessary. The PW182 family includes four models; the PW182RA, PW182RB, PW182RC and PW182RD. The models vary slightly in their functionality, power level and compliance with the popular standard known as IEEE802.3af , which defines the specifications for building Ethernet-powered sourcing equipment and powered terminals. The PW182RA is a 19W Gigabit injector designed for legacy equipment. The PW182RB is 17W Gigabit injector that complies with the IEEE802.3af specifications. The PW183RC is a 19W injector supporting data rates of 10/100Mbit/s. The PW182RD is 17W injector that supports 10/100Mbit/s data rates and complies with the IEEE802.3af detection, disconnect, overload and over voltage control function. Each product in the Ault PW182 power injector family has over load shutdown, short circuit protection and regulated output with low ripple. A load diagnostic LED advises when power is active, on, or if there is an error so users always know the status (IEEE802.3af compliant) or Power On LED for RA and RC models. AC input voltage range for the single port injector is 100 to 240V AC and AC input frequency from 47 to 63Hz. All models meet safety approvals for OEMs to support customers worldwide. SL Power also offers a service called Personalised PoE. |
