Power supply portfolio expands by 700 plus

RS Components has added more than 700 new products to its existing range of over 2000 power supplies to create its RS Power Supply Solutions

These additions address the market trends in power supplies to demand higher wattage and power density. The new products span over 16 power supply technologies including intelligent digital control, embedded, open and enclosed frame, power over Ethernet, DC/DC convertors, intermediate bus architecture and energy efficiency.

The launch features products from 17 major suppliers in total and introduces six new manufacturers to the RS fold: Tyco Electronics, Enpirion, Phihong, Ideal Power, Chinfa and Excelsys.
