Modules range from commercial to medical uses

Available now from Powersolve, the power solutions specialist company, the Tracopower TMT series of ultracompact AC/DC power modules have approvals that make them suitable for a wide range of commercial, industrial and medical applications. Available as 15 and 30W models in single- and dual-output voltage configurations from 5 to 24V DC, they are fully encapsulated modules designed for PCB mounting with solder pins or for chassis mounting with screw terminal block. An optional snap-on mounting adapter for DIN rails is also available.

The 15W models measure just 55 x 45 x 28mm and the 30W models are slightly larger at 77 x 45 x 26.4mm.

All models feature a universal AC Input of from 85 to 264V AC with operating temperatures of -25 to +50C without power derating.

Units are approved for Class II applications (no ground required) and IEC/UL60950-1 for industrial applications as well as IEC/UL60601-1 for medical systems.

The new TMT series comes with MTBF ratings of more than 250,000 hours and a 3-year warranty.
